Cassadee Pope’s Free Concert Packed The Rusty Nail [PICS]

The Hawk presented Taste of Country Free Music Showcase with Cassadee Pope last night at the new Rusty Nail in Davenport! The house was packed, the energy was high and it was an acoustic performance no one will forget.

The Hawk's night guy, Sam Alex, host of Taste of Country Nights (7p-12a weeknights) flew up from Nashville to help me host this dynamic performance. Cassadee Pope is not only The Voice Season 3 winner but she is with Republic Nashville and is more than ready for her climb in country music. She is constantly making waves, making country entertainment news and even has a song with Chris Young coming out soon.

As she walked into the Rusty Nail, 350 people (who had anxiously awaited her arrival) applauded, whistled and yelled her praises. Cassadee is so down to earth, taking pics before and staying long after her performance to take selfies and sign autographs for nearly everyone there.

Sam and I got to ask her questions on stage, just like he does when he interviews her and other stars in Nashville for his nightly show on The Hawk. Cassadee Pope gave an outstanding, strong, confident performance and inspired every person there. It was a great way to usher into Thanksgiving.
