Do you ever have those days where your thoughts include:

"I should just hand over my entire paycheck to the kids for sports."

"I need a personal assistant to keep up with our schedules!"

"Oh my god. Now I know, for realz, what they meant by 'it takes a tribe'."

"I have no life and I live and eat (and sometimes sleep) in the car."

"Wait a minute, did I forget a kid somewhere?!!" (hahaha!!)

Don't get me wrong, we are having a blast and making long-lasting memories with cheer leading. I have not one, but two girls in practice and the other just got picked to be the little mascot (she knows all the cheers from her older sisters). The practices, the yelling teens at my house showing me what they learned and the laughs and louuuuuuuddddnessssss, but I wouldn't change a thing about it. However, all the stressful, head-is-spinning times has caused me to wave a white flag a time or two and yell, 'For heaven's sake!' "

There isn't enough hours in the day once 3:30 p.m. happens ... times 3! Imagine me, in three different directions at once! I only thought I was a little scatter-brained before! Seriously. There isn't coffee strong enough. Jus' sayin'.

So, what's your secret? What do you do to stay organized and keep schedules moving smoothly? l keep a calendar and do a decent job but am really looking for that 'moment' when I breathe in at the games when they are cheering and say "Ya. I think we've totally got this thing down!"  Or is that a pipe-dream and all parents everywhere just feel like they are hanging by the thread of their chiny-chin-chins?
