Gwyneth Paltrow’s Food Stamp Try – A for Effort

When celebrities try to do things those who don't earn nearly as much normally have to do, they become an easy target. Sadly, all too many have had to rely on the SNAP or food stamp program just to survive. I know, because there was a period of time in my own life when I desperately needed the help myself.

I've come a long way in order to even admit this... In writing... On the internet (gasp!)... But I am no longer ashamed. It's part of what has made me a stronger person and I can't help but be grateful for the experience and help. Surprised? Don't be. It's the reality for 47 million people everyday.I can't help but admire the fact she even cared enough to try.
