Witty Iowa Road Signs Go Viral

"Get Your Head Out of Your Apps" is just one of many, cleverly-worded Iowa DOT signs catching internet attention. Have you seen them?

I love it when government gets down-to-earth and funny. It's refreshing to see humor on the roadways. Let's face it, driving isn't always fun and seeing something that makes you laugh out loud (or speak in a Yoda voice) is certainly memorable. I think that's what is helping... eh, hem, pardon the pun, drive the Iowa Department of Transportation's signage efforts.

With signs like these, all I have to say is, "Keep them coming!"
